about the recovery spot of west georgia

Our Story

The Recovery Spot of West Georgia began with a simple belief: connection changes everything.

We're a peer-led recovery community organization, which means that our staff members have lived experience in recovery.

We've been where you are, and we know that recovery doesn't happen in isolation... It happens in community.

Our space was created to bridge the gap between treatment and daily life.

We are a welcoming place where individuals can build support systems, develop life skills, and rediscover purpose.

Our Mission

To create a safe and empowering space where recovery thrives through connection, compassion, and peer support.

Our Vision

To build a community where healing replaces stigma and every person has the support they need to live a meaningful life in recovery.

Our values

CONNECTION

Recovery grows in relationships. The opposite of addiction is connection.

COMPASSION

We meet people where they are, not where we think they should be.

AUTHENTICITY

We lead with honesty and lived experience.

HOPE

Because no story is too far gone to be rewritten.

COMMUNITY

Together, we recover stronger.
