WAYS WE CAN HELP

SUPPORT GROUPS

1-ON-1 PEER SUPPORT

1-ON-1 PEER SUPPORT

At The Recovery Spot, we believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Every recovery journey is unique, and we honor and support all pathways to recovery—whether rooted in faith, fellowship, self-discovery, or community connection.

We offer a variety of support groups to help individuals find the space and style of recovery that best fits them:

NAMI Peer Support– A space to connect with others who understand the challenges of living with mental health conditions and to find hope through shared experience.

Co-Dependency Anonymous (CoDA)

A supportive fellowship for those seeking healthy relationships and personal boundaries.

Narcotics Anonymous (NA)

A 12-step group offering strength and unity for individuals recovering from substance use.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) A community-based 12-step program focused on sobriety and spiritual growth.

TraumAnon

A trauma-informed group offering healing for survivors of trauma, helping peers find peace and empowerment.

All Recovery

An all-inclusive group that welcomes all people, all pathways, and all stages of recovery.

No matter where you are on your journey, you are welcome here.

We meet you where you are—and walk beside you as you grow.

 Recovery looks different for everyone.

Our Certified Peer Specialists, Alisha and Hannah, offer one-on-one peer support sessions designed to meet you exactly where you are on your recovery journey.

Through these sessions, they help you set personal goals, build coping tools, develop accountability, and grow in confidence and self-awareness.

Both Alisha and Hannah understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery. They walk beside you—not above you—offering empathy, understanding, and lived experience to help guide you toward the life you’re striving to build.

They are available Monday through Friday, 8 AM–4 PM, to connect, listen, and help you explore what recovery means for you.

At The Recovery Spot, we believe that recovery isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress, connection, and growth.

Walk-ins are always welcome, or you can call us at (770) 830-2048 to schedule a session with us today!

OTHER PROGRAMS

1-ON-1 PEER SUPPORT

OTHER PROGRAMS

Jail Outreach & Re-Entry for Justice-Involved Peers

While we do some limited outreach inside the jail, our main focus is supporting peers after release. We partner with the Second Chance Project to extend their program beyond the walls, offering continued peer-led services, guidance, and connection as peers transition back into the community. Our goal is to help people rebuild their lives with purpose, support, and hope, one step at a time.

B.R.I.D.G.E. Program

We provide specialized peer support for individuals involved with the Department of Family & Children Services (DFCS). Whether you’re working toward reunification, navigating court requirements, or rebuilding stability, our peer specialists walk alongside you every step of the way — offering compassion, accountability, and hope.

Community Outreach

We believe recovery happens everywhere — not just within four walls. The Recovery Spot actively participates in local events, education initiatives, and advocacy efforts across West Georgia to spread awareness, inspire healing, and break the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health.
